Artist's notes:

The Dwarf was completed on 2.10.2011. This is a completed re-do of an earlier drawing. I've gone back and digitally tinted most of my earlier ink drawings. For some reason I didn't bother with the Dwarf Seahorse, until I got a few requests for seahorse decals. Rather than create an entirely new drawing, I decided this older drawing could be salvaged and a new and better image could be created.

Information about the Dwarf Seahorse:

The Dwarf Seahorse, sometimes called a 'seapony' because of it's diminutive size - is a member of the Syngnathidae family. It is found in the Caribbean Ocean, in grassy seabeds, where it feeds on small crustaceans. It is a very popular aquarium fish, and is the only known seahorse to be easily bred in captivity. They are thought to be slowest moving fish in the world's oceans, according the Guinness Book of World Records, and they probably never attain speeds of more than 0.001 m.p.h.
