Information about the Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion:The Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion lives in the the southwestern US and northern Mexico and is the largest scorpion in that area. They can grow to a length of over six inches long. It is native to the Sonoran and Mojave deserts. The scorpion is large enough that is can feed on prey as large as lizards and snakes. They are poisonous, but are not considered deadly to humans.
