mountain chameleon thumb The Mountain Chameleon was completed in Germany in 1998. The color was added in 2008. For several years I had misidentified as a Jackson's Chameleon. Hopefully now I have it labeled correctly. If not, please shoot me an email so I can fix it.

Information about the Mountain Chameleon:

The Mountain Chameleon is native to the tropical forests of Madagascar. They can grow up to 20 inches, although females are generally smaller and less colorful. They are very popular as pets. Contrary to popular belief chameleons cannot change their colors to match their surroundings. They can change and do alter their coloration, but it has more to do with mood, temperature and lighting.
