Information about the Tokay Gecko:The Tokay Gecko is a arboreal reptile native to the rainforests of northeast India, Bangladesh, and throughout Southeast Asia to Indonesia. It is an adaptive lizard and is often found living in manmade structures hunting insects near artificial lighting during the nighttime hours. It is the 2nd largest gecko growing to sizes of about 15 inches long. These animals are popular in the pet industry any many are imported from Asia to the rest of the world for the pet trade. These geckos are noted for their load vocalizations when mating.
